This workshop will be held bilingually in German and English.
This workshop is meant to give participants some tools to better understand the basics of imperialism, colonialism, and Global North/Global South dynamics, as a way to prepare for the release of the Desterradxs project in June.
Whether this is your first time hearing these words, you already know a little about them, or a maestro of geopolitics, everyone is welcome. The idea is to come together with curiosity — ready to share knowledge, ask questions, and learn from each other. Kids are also welcome to join.
Because learning can be easier and more enjoyable when our hands are busy too (yes, ADHD brains, we see you), you are welcome to bring any handicraft material you like working with. During the workshop, we will also use creative and hands-on activities to explore and express different ideas together.

Dieser Workshop soll den Teilnehmenden Hilfsmittel an die Hand geben, um die Grundlagen von Imperialismus, Kolonialismus und den Dynamiken zwischen dem Globalen Norden und dem Globalen Süden besser zu verstehen – als Vorbereitung auf den Start des Desterradxs–Projekts im Juni.
